Join us on January 11, 2025 for “Her Story ~ Her Strength.”

I am excited to invite you to our first WOW meeting of the new year on January 11, 2025, “Her Story, Her Strength” – an empowering women’s storytelling event dedicated to celebrating the extraordinary stories within our community. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect more deeply with one another and to honor our journeys as women.

Event Concept:
Our gathering aims to create a safe and supportive space for sharing personal stories where the wise women of WOW can take the spotlight as the heroine. In our 2-hours together, we would love to hear from 8-10 storytellers sharing personal stories that are 4-6 minutes in length. Stories will be shared while sitting in a circle.

We Encourage You to Sign-up to Share a Story Around One of the Following Themes:

1. Finding Your Voice: Share a moment when you found the courage to speak up and be heard.
2. Overcoming Adversity: Tell us about a time when you faced a difficult chapter in your life and emerged stronger.
3. Displaying Courage in the Face of Fear: Talk about a situation when you “felt the fear and did it anyway.”
4. Overcoming Challenge: Share an obstacle you faced and overcame with creativity and ingenuity.

How to Participate as a Storyteller:
If you would like to share a story at our gathering, please RSVP by December 1 to colleenkilpatrick@icloud.com. All storytellers will receive storytelling guidelines and helpful tips by December 15.

Your participation will not only make the event richer but will also encourage others to embrace and celebrate their own stories.
